My in-laws got this TV when it first came out, and they still have it. It still has great color, and was re-built about 10 years ago. They don't like the new TVs because they don't "match the furniture", and the cable box gives them everything they need, including a remote. After using the new Portraiture plug-in for photoshop on various portions to smooth out the "old magazine" look, and pulling out a little more intense color to make it look a little more contemporary, it is now my new (and most likely permanent) desktop picture.
