Here are two 1950s images of the San Clemente Pier from two totally different sources. The one above is from 1956 and was taken by someone in the County Planning Dept. The photo below comes from a slightly earlier postcard. (You can see a building being built in the 1956 shot that does not appear in the one below.)

chris - do you have any other info regarding the rally to save the main street library? you mentioned 2pm, is it starting at the library/triangle park?
