Sadly, I had to shut down comments (my favorite part of the blog) thanks to endless spam. Most of my posts are linked from my FB page, so feel free to comment there or to email me. If I can find a more secure way to do so, I will bring back normal commenting later.

I guess my generous offer to buy Knott's wasn't enough! And I was going to bring back the Haunted Shack too!
ReplyDeleteHow sad - I didn't even know that the Knott's family didn't own it anymore. I hope they take good care of it.
ReplyDeleteUh oh... I had not heard that news, but it doesn't seem to bode well for Knott's. "Investment Group" means impersonal, faceless, and all-too-ready to throw in the towel if desired results are not quickly reached. And I thought Cedar Fair was bad!
ReplyDeleteHey, Disney needs to step up to the plate and buy KBF!
ReplyDeleteAnonymous: That nearly happened back in the 1990s -- But the Knott family thought Disney wasn't the right fit for the Farm and nixed the deal.
ReplyDeleteIs Jerry Nicholson from the Knott's sign shop the same Jerry Nicholson who taught art at Edison High in Huntington Beach?
ReplyDeleteYep!
DeleteBut of course!
