I just stumbled across an interesting Newport Harbor-related item on eBay: "You are looking at a Ohio Art sand pail made especially for M. Clark Co L.A. Cal." It features a map of the area from Huntington Beach to Laguna and also depicts "The Skipper" -- a little character who appeared on Newport Beach promotional materials many decades ago.I'm not sure if this is an original or a reproduction, but I either way, I don't have $100 to spend on a bucket.
