Two Main Streets, decked out for Christmas

Main St., Ghost Town, Knott's Berry Farm, decorated for Christmas, mid-1960s.
Pacific Coast Highway and Main St., Huntington Beach, Christmas 1935.
I probably won't post again until the 26th or 27th, so I'll wish you all a Merry Christmas while I have the chance.

Thanks! Merry Christmas to you too, Chris.

And I hope you'll still find reasons to visit O.C. once your book is done in 2008.

Perhaps by then you'd even have time to meet at KBF or Disneyland and we can spend a day philosophising, deconstructing, and talking theme park history.

That sounds great! I'd love to do that sometime, when my schedule lets up...

Merry Christmas to you, to Mr. Colony Rabble, and to all your Rabblettes. I hope 2008 will be a happy and healthy year for all of you.

Chris - there is something eerie (in a cool way of course!) about that 2nd photo. Great post - and happy holidays to you!
